Everyone is beautiful - we just make it natural and obvious

I've gotten service from Romany De Mel twice--once for a haircut and blow out and once for my wedding hair. Both times I looked like a million bucks when she finished. So glad I found this salon and her. I'll be going back in a month or so for a hair relaxing treatment for the summer. Can't wait.

I had walked by Kess Salon multiple times, the location is a high traffic area. It wasn't until I saw my neighbor during a dog walk that I took note on how amazing her hair looked. She said I had to tried Kess. I'm so glad I did. Since my first haircut, i've gone back for two deep conditions, another hair cut, and a facial.

I had such a wonderful experience. I have ultra fine hair and worked with the stylist to figure out what I can do to make my hair fun and give it more volume. They were patient with me, kind and explained the different products they were using. My hair looks amazing and I am confident I can style it like this in the future. I look forward to my next visit!

I've been getting my hair cut by the professionals at Kess for about 12 years now. In addition to the comfortable and friendly environment, I enjoy supporting a local, woman-owned business. I get full highlights and a cut every time I go. When my father passed away a few years ago, my hair stylist surprised me by doing my hair as a gift before the funeral. This was an immensely thoughtful and generous gift - especially in the budget-tight times during COVID. I often work on my laptop while there using the salon’s Wi-Fi network which is an added perk. Royston has been cutting my hair for several years. I have very thick, slightly wavy hair that has been a challenge for other hairdressers and takes a long time to cut well. But Royston consistently takes his time and cuts it very well. It is clear that he knows what he is doing. I especially like the precision with which he cuts the ends that adds an extra touch to the look of the cut. He cuts my hair the best of anyone I have ever been to. I regularly get compliments from friends and even strangers about the quality of the cut.

I always enjoy going to Kess Hair for my hair highlights and cuts! The two sisters and brother often work in sync when blowing out my hair which is quite cool and shows how well they function as a team. The salon is always bright, nicely decorated and so very clean. Location is perfect for me and there is plenty of parking...unlike when I used to go to Georgetown for my hair treatments. Royston was referred to me from one of my clients that had the best hair! I've been going to Kess for three years now and every time is delightful.

Kess was THE BEST! My hair was in bad shape when I came in, and Romanie took great care and a lot of time to get it back in shape and just right. The salon is bright and pleasant, parking is not a problem, and it's right next door to a delicious bakery and biscuit shop : ). I've already booked my next appointment.

The BEST service- staff is friendly and professional. Royston is by far the most talented stylist. Every color and cut I've had with him for approx 10 years has been amazing. If you like receiving compliments after a new hairdo or touch-up, go here. You will not regret it.
